Pars Herpetologists Institute is being organized as a non-profit corporation in 2006 for the study
of reptiles and amphibians with an emphasis on research, education
and public awareness.
Major Research Fields:
Conservation and biology of rare and endangered
species, distribution patterns, management program, education of local
people.
Objectives:
To promote the
discovery and dissemination of amphibian and reptile
information.
Raising public
awareness to stimulate interest and understanding about
our amphibians and reptiles.
To encourage the
specific study of amphibians and reptiles.
Make new information on
herpetological species composition, abundance, and
distribution.
Train students in the
disciplines of herpetology, field biology, and
conservation.
